Trading Post
The Valelands & The Nerath Timeline
The current year for our Valelands campaign is set during the year 103AE.
Inspired By Gary Gygax

This trading post is located on the south side of Desul Torey. It is the first shop that would be seen when entering the village from the North. Virtually every sort of saleable goods are sold here. Rare and/or unusual items might be obtained at a price and in time (and will often be spurious or faulty). Magical items are NOT sold here ever!

Joman Dart, a male Halfling, runs this business, in a large structure rebuilt after a fire a few years ago. It still bears the original name in honor of its long service providing the community with supplies of all sorts.

Although other shops and merchants have operated in the settlement in the past, the Old Trading Post remains standing and a favorite of adventurers and travelers due to its proximity to the Gray Hare. This shop has stood throughout the lifetime of Desul Torey and been the main location for buying trade goods.

The establishment seems to always be well stocked. The store itself is medium sized to large with a single floor but it does have many alchoves along the upper walls that are accessed with ladders. The Trading Post is owned and operated by a halfling named Joman Dart.

This trading post acts basically as a general store, and is open from dawn until dusk. It sells low-cost trade wares, such as adventuring gear, as well as rations and other simple goods, and is perhaps the only place in the region that carries specialty skull-shaped butter from a local Ranch not far from Desul Torey.

The trading post also serves as a trading hub. Clerks Andal and Thistleknot (two more younger halflings) unload and load carts of goods and resources that come into, or go out of Desul Torey via wagon. Joman also brokers deals for large sales of livestock and similar goods, bringing together local sellers from around the region with buyers from far off towns and cities.

1. Clothing and Packs: peasant equipment is about 70% of list price, rounded down; dungeoneering items are 100% rounded up.

2. Footwear, Gloves & Belts: Prices to adventurers is 125% of list, 80% to villagers.

3. Lighting Equipment: Tinderboxes, candles, oil, lamps, wicks, lanterns etc are 110% of list, rounded up.

6. Ropes, Chains & Dungeoneering Gear: (including writing materials and religious items) 110% of list. 7. Polearms & Shields: 120% of list.

Phandalin
The Valelands & The Nerath Timeline
The current year for our Valelands campaign is set during the year 103AE.
Inspired By Gary Gygax

Phandalin is mainly human populated settlement located in the farthest reaches of south-east Nentir Vale that has enjoyed much prosperity in the last decade. It was raided by orcs in 22AE and subsequently abandoned. It was eventually resettled in 60AE as a frontier settlement of farmers and prospectors. Phandalin is a modest and quiet town of farmers, woodcutters, trappers, and miners built atop the ruins of old Phandalin. The settlement quickly grew to about fifty well-maintained structures built of stone, lumber and flagstones with three deep wells providing water.

It was eventually resettled, however, and Phandalin became a frontier settlement of farmers and prospectors looking for wealth in the Briar Hills and Dawnforge Mountains to the north. Years ago, Phandalin was originally just a farming community but has simply evolved into what it is today.

However, when Orcs destroyed most of the game in the region, they went in search of food and turned on the human settlements in the area, raiding them. Phandalin was one of these settlements, it was eventually overrun and abandoned.

After a well known book writer passed through the area and wrote about it, the area experienced an influx of tourists and adventurers. Some time later, settlers resettled the ruins of Phandalin, and re-established the location. Later, a group of bandits known as the Redbrands, "or the Redbrand Ruffians", settled in Phandalin, and made their lair beneath Tresendar Manor.

They committed several terrible acts, such as killing the woodcarver, Thel Dendrar, for his defiance, and later kidnapping his family. These ruffians remain a problem within Phandalin and the surrounding area.

Phandalin has a standing functioning government, with the ruling authority being the townmaster, Harbin Wester, a human male noble. The townsmaster serves as a judge and mediator, and also keeps the records that needed to be kept. For the most part, with the Redbrands residing within Phandalin, the townmaster is nothing more than a figurehead, being unable to do much of anything to stop the Redbrands.

Phandalin has three deep wells that are always well maintained around the clock. The average population of the village of Phandalin is around 500-600 folk. This depends entirely on the season of trade through this quiet settlement, with it increasing slightly during the summer months while decreasing slightly during the winter months.

Phandalin also has a small standing local militia "around a half dozen strong" that were appointed by the townmaster to protect this settlement which so far the militia has not been successful. The militia once stood at over a dozen, but due to the Redbrands those numbers have somewhat shrunk.

Local people, living around the area of Phandalin can be expected to know the following information about the area: The original Phandalin town established and ruled by the Tresendar family for a number of generations until it was raided and destroyed by bandits about five centuries ago. The town was abandoned afterwards. Frontiersmen from the surrounding region settled the new town about a decade previous as a spot for miners to operate from when searching the Ashkeeper Peaks.

The town of Phandalin is too isolated and insignificant to be known by most people of the region. Only those who have been there themselves or know somebody who has spent significant time there will have any general or specific knowledge of the place. The town has no real value other than its local farmers and miners and governs itself under governmental system, the settlement has learned to fend for itself in recent years.

For a long while, adventurers explored this region but after a time, they just stopped coming. It seemed that no monsters were left to slay, and no evil existed here to be stamped out. The villagers heaved a collective sigh—some pained at the loss of income, but others relieved by the return to the quiet, normal life—and Phandalin continued its quiet existence for four years more.

But then, a year ago, the Redbrands began to ride the roads — not frequently, but to some effect, they eventually settled in Phandalin. To the good folk of Phandalin, this seemed all too familiar, so they sent word with hopes of drawing heroes to the region to once again calm the region.

This information has been spread throughout the countryside, and the news has attracted outsiders to the village once again although slowly. Who and what these men are, no one can be quite sure. All claim to be bent on slaying monsters and bringing peace and security to Phandalin, but deeds speak more loudly than words, and lies cloak the true purposes of the malevolent.

This settlements community is made up of friendly folk but they always seem to have their guard up during these troubling times. These people understand that the presense of these Redbrands, orcs and goblins that have taken up residence in the region recently might cause them to be forced to defend themselves but regardless, life goes on and even though they stand knowing of the dangers that lurk nearby, these people still live a normal life "for the most part".

The climate tends to be cool during the summer, not overly humid but winters are usually very cold with much snowfall in this region. Farming and "some" hunting are common trades of the region, along with the mining that has picked up in the area. Exports mostly consist of foodstuffs from the surrounding farms along with meat from hunting within the surrounding area.

Government
The townmaster of Phandalin, Harbin Wester, is from the city of Hardby which lies north of Phandalin. Folks around Phandalin are not all that happy with the townmaster's authority, and they have found answering to the laws of the current lord very hard to accept. Townmaster Harbin Wester is telling the citizens of Phandalin that he is doing his best to protect this settlement, but in reality, Wester is trying to keep a low profile and stay as clear of the Redbrands as he possibly can.

Harbin Wester approved the local militia to be formed "which is overseen by the Sergeant of the Watch. Phandalin has a small group of soldiers who perform guard and police functions in and around the settlement, but always seem to stay clear of the Redbrands. The guards patrol in pairs and the townmaster basically keeps the town guard on a tight leash so as to not incur the wrath of the Redbrands.

Harbin Wester has no real power anymore with Phandalin. Now, he is nothing more than townmaster - "in name only". Most people who live within Phandalin have lost all faith in Wester's ability to protect them.

Festivals & Events
Phandalin once held frequent festivals such as the Midwinter Solstice Festival, feasts, and fairs throughout the year, and also the midsummer Peachiest Pie bake-off was held during this celebration. The festivals would also have other random events and contests that changed from year to year depending on popularity. But with the recent troubles, the festivals have not been held for over a year.

The Sleeping Giant
The Valelands & The Nerath Timeline
The current year for our Valelands campaign is set during the year 103AE.
Inspired By Gary Gygax

A rundown, ramshackle, and dangerous watering hole located on the eastern edge of Buckbridge. Most of the time, ruffians can be seen loitering around the front of the establishment. It is known for being frequented by a bandit group known as the Redbrands. It is operated by a bad-tempered and rather unfriendly dwarf named Gristle Kettlecopp.

Due to the shady individuals supporting this inn, the townmaster Harbin Wester has left this inn operating, not that he actually has the power to shut it down - mainly the Redbrands see to that . . . most folk of Phandalin simply turn a blind eye to this run down establishment.

The building is located at the eastern end of main street, which ends at Tresendar Manor. It is marked as a tavern by a sign depicting a prone giant and by its porch, which has several empty barrels of ale on display.

The Sleeping Giant is owned by a dwarf named Gristle Kettlecopp, whose rude demeanor reflects the quality (or lack thereof) of the pub itself. It is the favored watering hole for cruder folk, and caters mostly to dwarf and human miners and ruffians. The bar is poorly maintained, and townsfolk are known to dissuade visitors from going there.

The main taproom is smokey and dirty. There is hay strewn across the room, and by the look of it has not been changed for a while: all sorts of stains and discolorations mark the floor. Broken-down tables and benches barely hold together. The walls are covered with hunting trophies, countless antlers, and a few stuffed heads, some of them well past their best. A moth-eaten head of a bear hands from the wall behind the rustic bar. It does have a upper level to the main floor with more tables.

There are only another two rooms in the dive:

- a backroom that serves as Gristle's 'quarters': the room is as dirty and unkempt as the taproom itself. A small single bed is tucked in a corner, a desk full of papers and empty bottles sits beside the small fireplace. It is dark, dingy, and smells really bad.

- the other room is a barn with old straw and empty stalls. The beer barrels are kept in a small cellar underground - there is a large trap door visible in the first stall on the right-hand side. Customers who have passed out are dragged there by Seekill to finish off the night.

Lionshield Coster
The Valelands & The Nerath Timeline
The current year for our Valelands campaign is set during the year 103AE.
Inspired By Gary Gygax

The Lionshield Coster, also called the Lionshields, is a merchant company based in the city of Fallcrest, a city to the northwest, that also operates in Phandalin.

The merchant company's symbol is a image of a lion's head placed upon a wooden or metal shield. In some instances the lion is colored blue, while in others it is emblazoned over a blue background.

The merchant company is able to ship finished goods, such as supplies of armor and weapons, throughout the Vale and to settlements outside of the Vale as well via small ships and boats that traverse the White River as well as the Nentir River.

One such settlement is Portown located in the southern reaches of the borderlands. The settlements trading post is overseen by Linene Graywind, a sharp-tongued human woman in her mid thirties. The organization also has a trading post in Winterhaven as well, run by Darthag Ulgar, and a store called the Lion's Share in Nenlast which is to the north of Phandalin, managed by Narth Tezrin and Alaestra Ulgar.

This particular location is a modest building. Above the front door is a weathered wooden sign in the shape of a shield on which is painted a blue lion. Armor and weapons are stored in a back room to keep them out of the hands of any who might wish harm upon the people of Phandalin. The store serves as an outpost and delivery point for caravans run by the Lionshield Coster that make come down the White River, and specializes mostly in providing the people of Phandalin with finished goods, horses, armor, weapons, and other adventuring equipment. It is perhaps the only place in Phandalin where adventurers can sell valuable treasures for reasonable prices, although the rates are much lower than in Fallcrest or Winterhaven.

In the Year of 101AE, deliveries to the Phandalin Lionshield Coster were frequently attacked by bandits, including the Cragmaw tribe. At least one caravan was completely lost, with all of its goods being stolen. The master of the trading post is Linene Graywind, who is assisted by her daughter, Minghee Graywind. They do not live on-site, but have a small home within the settlement of Phandalin.

Miner's Exchange
The Valelands & The Nerath Timeline
The current year for our Valelands campaign is set during the year 103AE.
Inspired By Gary Gygax

The Phandalin Miner's Exchange is a trading post and guildhall in Phandalin that purchases materials from local miners.

Location
The exchange is located in the southwest section of Phandalin, and directly east of a trail used by the local miners. It is marked by a sign bearing an image of two crossed pickaxes over a lump of gold.

Atmosphere
A lot of the villagers spend their time here, particularly those that have spent most of the working day around the countryside. All business is conducted on the first floor of the building.

Services
The company purchases quantities of ore and gems from the miners of Phandalin. It is also is the best place to purchase carts and wagons in Phandalin.

It further functions as a records office, which registeres claims to specific parts of the land, such as valleys, streams, and excavations.

History
The business is headed by Halia Thornton, a Myriad agent. Although the local brigands, known as the Redbrands, hassles almost all the businesses in Phandalin, they do not even attempt to ruin trade for the Phandalin Miner's Exchange which most residents find a bit strange.

The Miner's Exchange suffered from financial difficulties throughout early last year because the flow of resources from the mines was irregular. It would sometimes go for months with any revenue.

Stonehill Inn
The Valelands & The Nerath Timeline
The current year for our Valelands campaign is set during the year 103AE.
Inspired By Gary Gygax

The Stonehill Inn is a quaint inn in the settlement of Phandalin. Outside the inn, hanging over the entrance, is a square wooden sign that shows a buxom and smiling girl holding a flagon of beer. The Stonehill Inn, is a place renowned for its good food and excellent drink! Passing merchants make a point of stopping, as do many other sorts of wayfarers, and it is said that the place is always filled with patrons.

The Stonehill Inn is owned by Toblen Stonehill, who operates it alongside his wife Trilena Stonehill and with help from his son Pip Stonehill. He is polite and smiles often to customers, but one can tell he does not tolerate visitors who do not respect the taverns rules. He is friendly enough "for the most part" and is always welcoming to those entering his establishment.

Toblen came from the east seeking opportunity in prospecting like many others. He soon found that he knew more about running an inn than mining, and so he established the inn.

The Stonehill Inn is a nondescript everyday Inn one might find in any mid-sized town or village within Nentir Vale - actually it is rather large for the small settlement of Phandalin. The main floor in the inn consists mostly of open area filled with small round tables with chairs and a half circle bar located along the left side on the main floor as you enter the establishment. Bar stools have been placed at the bar itself. The inn is clean and very well maintained, you can tell Toblen takes great pride in his business. During most times during business hours, you will see several young females waiting tables with Toblen and his wife either behind the bar or out amongst the customers making small talk.

Prices at the Stonehill Inn are a little higher than usual because it is the only inn for many miles but the meals that are prepared here make up for the slightly increased prices. Choice venison, mutton, poached salmon, trout stuffed with specially prepared mixtures, goose roasted to a golden brown, pork, steaming sausages, steak and kidney pie with mushrooms or truffles, squab stuffed pheasant and boiled crayfish in drawn butter are just a few of the delights which are served here.

The villagers of Phandalin, from miners to farmers, enjoyed relaxing in the common room, which became a good place to hear local gossip and stories. The inn is kept neat and clean, and is a generally pleasant place to visit. The inn provides six rentable rooms on the upper floor, plus alcoholic beverages and food. A bed is five silver pieces a night, and prices are fairly standard for food, ale, and cider, with meals coming to various low prices. The bar is usually manned during business hours by someone.

The Stonehills arrived in Phandalin from the west early in the construction of the town, and founded the inn around 100AE. With the Redbrands current reign of terror throughout Phandalin during present time of 103AE, the bandits do not frequent the inn, preferring to drink at the Sleeping Giant a few buildings to the east.

Business continues more-or-less as usual during the these times. The inn playes host to important visitors during this time, such as Don-Jon Raskin, the man who was in charge of reopening the Mountain's Toe gold mines. The inn's common room also became a favorite haunt for Argus Skeel, a vampire spawn in service to the necromancer Ularan Mortus in the past. For larger meetings that take place at this inn, the inn has a room in the back with a large table and many chairs placed around it to hold Council meetings and such.

As of now, the inn remaines prosperous and largely unchanged. However, at a point approximatelya year ago, Toblen was forced to secure a loan to help keep the establishment running but things have sense turned around for the inn and Toblen. The Stonehills are very unhappy with how the townsmater is running the settlement and how he has not done anything about the Redbrands seemingly running Phandalin. Toblen feels like it is only a matter of time before the Rebrands simply take over and he is forced to close his business.

Meals are served on pottery or pewter or copper services according to the customers order. Various leather jacks, pottery mugs, wooden tankards, pewter steins, glass flagons, crystal goblets, or silver chalices are used for the beverages.

The locally brewed ale and beer is supplemented by brews from other places, and wine, mead and brandy from all over the realms make their way to the boards of the Stonehill Inn.

Market Square
The Valelands & The Nerath Timeline
The current year for our Valelands campaign is set during the year 103AE.
Inspired By Gary Gygax

The market in Phandalin is basically a small clearing in the center of the settlement where carts and wagons gather and offer goods to the people of Phandalin. Once each week, the official Market Day acts as a siren’s song, calling most of the local folk to shop and socialize in the market. Farmers sell produce, hunters hawk smoked meats, villagers sell crafts, and sometimes a trader from distant locations sells implements or costly goods.

"On any given day, there is a 50% chance that items from the adventuring gear list in the Player’s Handbook are available for sale here". Adventurers will almost never find armor, weapons, implements, or magic items in the market square, however.

Jasper Lightfoot
The Valelands & The Nerath Timeline
The current year for our Valelands campaign is set during the year 103AE.
Inspired By Gary Gygax

Jasper Lightfoot is barely 3 feet (0.9m) tall and just a little past his prime but, don't tell him that. He has stark white hair that is shoulder length which he keeps in a ponytail that hangs down his back and an unkempt beard that is also white, and two of his fingers on his right hand are missing after being severed during a failed trap disarming many years ago - he is also missing the tip of his pinky finger on his left hand . . . "another failed trap disarming".

When traveling he usually wears three daggers on his belt belt, a shortsword which he wears on his left hip, a shortbow which is strapped to his back but easily reached for quick use, two daggers which he has concealed on his back beneath his faded dark green cloak that are within easy reach and for clothing he can usually be seen wearing a tan sash, tanned leather sleeveless vest, a gray shirt, high tanned boots, and tanned leather riding gloves.

Jasper enjoys nothing so much as a good mug of fine brewed ale, smoking his pipe "which is always on his person" and fishing - he prefers to be enjoying all three at the same time. He can be quite subtle and equally crafty, though he is by no means cruel in any way, but when the time comes to make the hard decisions, he makes them without a second thought. He enjoys hearing stories of adventures and enjoys telling them even more. Jasper is easy going and easy to talk with but dislikes being called old - he will hear nothing of that. If asked, Jasper will tell you he is in his prime and has never felt better.

Jasper also has a serious side to him which is easily apparent when it is needed. He has grown wise over the course of his many years of living and has gained the ability to see things his friends often miss. Despite his aged appearance, his eyes remain sharp and clear and he never forgets a face. He is honest and loyal to a fault to his friends and will stand beside them to the end. To those around him, he seems like a grumpy old Halfling that is well past his prime, but this is merely a facade he likes to maintain to others. He enjoys whittling toys for children from pieces of wood which is gives away for free. He has a habit of talking to himself and is allergic to horses "which causes him to sneeze non-stop" - He also has a deep hatred for Orcs.

Jasper enjoys investigating new and undiscovered places, and is not afraid to take on the jobs most people will pass on. He does tend to be a little headstrong at times, acting before thinking "which explains his missing fingers" but over the years, he has gotten a little better with that issue. Times have been hard for him recently with work being hard to find. For the last year, he has been renting a room in the Gray Hare and taking odd jobs, whenever they present themselves. Jasper feels he has one more good run in him to trek out on one last adventure to earn enough gold to settle down and retire.

We Focus on TTRPG's Here
The Valelands & The Nerath Timeline
The current year for our Valelands campaign is set during the year 103AE.
Inspired By Gary Gygax

As far as real world issues goes, we've never had to address these issues here and for that I am extremely thankful. We are not anything special here, just a group of gamers trying to have a good time and I think we've grown quite a bit which makes me happy. I hope that we can continue to grow and expand as time goes on!

However there is a lot of turmoil going on in the outside world and I want to make something clear here.

We will not discuss matters of justice and equality here. We (and I, specifically) believe firmly that heroes of high fantasy settings would have never looked at anyone or anything and wondered . . . what do they identify as, are they gay or straight, what race, color or sex a person is/was, no, they wouldn't because it never would have came up and it will not come up on this blog or within my games. None of that matters here because we are all adults here and we treat people like adults.

We don't care about any of that silliness here, this is a Dungeons & Dragons campaign blog . . . it does not matter what you are, what you believe in, what color you are, what sex you are or were, none of that matters here and it will not be discussed here, so keep it to yourself.

If you feel the need to push any of that in peoples faces where this campaign is concerned then please go somewhere else, we are here to play tabletop games and nothing that happens in the real world matters here. You won't find people yelling at the world about what pronouns they are, or if they identify as a lamp shade in this group. We are not for it or against it - we simply don't care. This is a GAMING BLOG covering a Dungeons & Dragons setting and the story that it holds. No one here cares about any of the above mentioned things, keep it to yourself and let us focus on the adventuers that happen here.

If you disagree with this, feel free to leave this place and never come back. I hope you take the time to reflect on your beliefs and understand that what you believe in, should be none of anyone elses business, and people will not be forced to address you by your silly pronoun - keep it to yourself. Once again, this is a Dungeons & Dragons campaign blog and that is all that should matter to anyone who visits this website.

People that sit around our real world or virtual table are all grown ass adults and we don't give a damn about your pronouns or your real world politics. Now, with all that silliness out of the way, we hope you enjoy your visit here and please feel free to say hello in our comments sections. We would love to meet you.

Cemetary
The Valelands & The Nerath Timeline

Dedicated to the Raven Queen, with an altar to her just inside the main gate to the cemetary, the cemetary is a patch of dead grass with headstones scattered haphazardly. There is no priest of the Raven Queen in Nenlast, so the care of the graveyard falls to the other clergy, who don't take as much care of the cemetery as they do the chapel.

After orc incursion years ago, many were laid to rest in the cemetary which is located just outside of Nenlast, including some members of Allara Estorean's former adventuring party: Syrus Kalidrem, Dohla Loria, and Ghen Taleve. The cemtary is maintained by a grounds keeper named Relic Tamsen.

Erkar's General Store
The Valelands & The Nerath Timeline

Most popular for its wide selection of bait and tackle, Erkar's General Store sells just about any necessity for life on the shores of Lake Nen, including archery gear and leather products. Erkar carries some of the most basic spell components, but it's a small selection that he doesn't really cater to, as most mages prefer to buy from the Sapphire Tower.

Erkar took over the general store in Nenlast when his wife passed and has been running it for the last four years. He has a variety of items available for sale, including anything off the list of adventuring gear shown in the Player’s Handbook. He does not deal in the magic business, finding his lack of knowledge of the arcane extremely limited.

For the most part, this establishment is generally looked at as being well stocked in the surrounding region surprisingly for such a small settlement, selling anything from clothing, to dried foods and such. He also sells general utility items found in the Players Handbook and sells such items at 155% mark up value.

Black Trout Inn
The Valelands & The Nerath Timeline
The current year for our Valelands campaign is set during the year 103AE.
Inspired By Gary Gygax

Black Trout Inn is two-story building set in the center of the settlement and is the only inn within Nenlast.

The inn has five rooms upstairs with a communal washroom at the very end of the hall. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although the hall does not contain windows with curtains, each of the rooms has a window. Each room has a comfortable bed, many covers & blankets, a wash stand, chamber pot, towel, pegs for garments, and several chairs and stools.

Somewhere in the inn is a job board, where people can ask for help with jobs. The overall construction of the Black Trout Inn closely resembles the appearance of the Five League House. Both inns were constructed roughly about the same time and by the same construction crews. Both owners are on friendly terms and often assist each other with needed provisions in times of need.

Red Toran is a man "in his mid 40's" who is the proprietor of the Black Trout Inn, that rents out the rooms and seems to manage the inn. He is polite and smiles often to customers, but one can tell he does not tolerate visitors who do not respect the rules of his establishment. He is friendly enough "for the most part" and is always welcoming to those visiting. A redheaded barmaid named Adelaine, rushes from table to table taking orders and going to and from the kitchen in the back to get meals for customers.

Red Toran, the proprietor of the Black Trout Inn, came to the town of Nenlast seeking opportunity in prospecting like many others. He soon found that he knew more about running an inn than mining, so he established the inn.

The establishment is a nondescript everyday Inn one might find in any mid-sized town or village. The main floor in the inn consists mostly of open area filled with small round tables with chairs and a medium sized bar located along the left side on the main floor as you enter the establishment.

Candles have been place throughout the dining area which keep the bottom floor well lit. Bar stools have been placed at the bar itself. The inn is clean and very well maintained, you can tell Nana takes great pride in her business. At most times during the day, a young red headed girl can be seen waiting tables and Yorda herself is usually here as well, standing behind the bar.

Prices at the Black Trout Inn are reasonable and the meals that are prepared here make up for short comings the Inn might have. The inn may be slightly smaller than most inns but it is well ran and has earned its good reputation it currently has.

Meals are served on pottery or pewter or copper services according to the customers order. Various leather jacks, pottery mugs, wooden tankards, pewter steins, glass flagons, crystal goblets, or silver chalices are used for the beverages. The locally brewed ale and beer is supplemented by brews from other places, and wine, mead and brandy from all over the region make their way to the boards of the Nestled Nook Inn.

(All full meals served with bread and honey, potatoes, and string beans, yams, rum-boiled artichokes, potatoes, and string beans, yams, rum-boiled artichokes, cabbage, carrots, or spinach)
